- What 3 trends do you see in computer evolution? AND Why?
I see open source applications where multiple people can work on the same thing at the same time. Google was the first to do this with google docs, google slides, etc. Microsoft did it for power point and word soon after google's success. Another trend is tablets, tablets have become a big thing because of its reliability and size. People liked the fact that it's portable but still functions like a laptop or a desktop. The last trend is making the computers clearer and lighter. People don't want to be carrying around a heavy laptop all of the time, so engineers for different companies went and made computers that are thinner, lighter, and more efficient.
- Name 3 factors that drive technological innovation?
People, money, and desire. People is a factor because if they don't buy a certain computer then companies aren't going to make them the same way, they'll find a way to improve the makeup of computers. Money because if people aren't buying computers companies are going to lose money which means the workers get paid less. If companies and engineers don't continue to create better computers then they won't be able to make as much money. Desire is another reason, it's a reason because people simply want the best and nicest things. If companies are able to produce that then the people are going to be pleased and they will continue to buy the products and companies will get more money.
